Welcome to VeeLion. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://veelion.com (the “Site”) and the localization, translation, and related services we provide (“Services”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Veelion is a localization and translation services company based in Egypt. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Veelion.

2. Services

We provide language services including but not limited to translation, localization, proofreading, editing, and related linguistic services. The specific scope, deliverables, and turnaround time for each project will be agreed in writing (via email, quote, or order confirmation) before work begins.

3. Orders and Acceptance

  • Quotes are valid for the period specified on the quote (typically 14 days unless stated otherwise).
  • An order is considered accepted once payment has been received and we have confirmed the project in writing.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices on the Site are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment is processed online through Fawry.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required before work begins. For larger projects, we may agree on milestone-based payments.
  • Fawry’s responsibility is limited to payment collection. For any related issue, please contact us directly.

5. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to deliver high-quality work, you agree to:

  • Provide source materials in a usable format
  • Provide any reference materials, glossaries, or style preferences relevant to the project
  • Respond to clarification questions in a timely manner
  • Confirm that you have the right to share any materials you submit to us

6. Delivery

We will deliver completed work by the agreed deadline via the agreed method (email, file transfer, or otherwise). Delays caused by late client responses, incomplete source files, or scope changes may extend the delivery date.

7. Revisions and Quality

We aim to deliver work of professional quality. If you identify genuine errors or issues with the delivered work, please notify us within 7 days of delivery, and we will review and correct them at no additional cost. Revisions arising from changes to the original brief or new requirements may be subject to additional charges.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Source materials submitted to us remain your property.
  • Once full payment has been received, the translated or localized work is transferred to you for the agreed use.
  • We retain the right to maintain translation memories and glossaries for internal quality and consistency purposes, with all client-identifying information removed.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all client materials as confidential. Our staff and contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations. We will not disclose your materials to third parties except as required to deliver the Services or by law.

10. Cancellation

If you need to cancel a project after work has begun, charges will apply for work completed up to the point of cancellation. See our Refund Policy for details.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law:

  • Our liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business opportunities.
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete source materials provided by the client.

12. Use of the Site

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt its operation, or to access areas you are not authorized to access.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
